FALL TOUR IS HERE!
Hello CC Nation! In one day we depart for our fall tour of the USA! This is a short three week tour (short by our standards) -our first show will be in Dayton, OH on Sept 30th and our last show will be in Great Falls, Montana on Oct 21st. We only have a few states we haven’t played in so we’re thrilled to cross another one off our list and make our Montana debut with not one, but TWO shows! We have a lot of exciting new merch for you, including a new cactus-themed shirt and our first ever embroidered patches! Tour dates below, hope to see you at a show! Our new Melvins-worshipping 7 inch, Pantheon: Vol. 2 is now available to purchase and stream at Bandcamp! You can also get Pantheon: Vol. 2 at itunes, and hear it on Spotify, Pandora, and all the other usual streaming services. At bandcamp you can get a digital download, or purchase a really awesome, limited edition 7 inch record with one of a kind artwork (that comes with a download). One pressing only!
Check out this premiere feature in New Noise Magazine. Before the 7 inch was released on this past Friday, they previewed our Melvins’ cover on Side B of the record. It’s a crazy, double theremin noise rock extravaganza freak out version of “Cow,” the closing track to the iconic 1991 album Bullhead. We’re pretty proud of this recording, and proud of our tribute to some of our biggest rock and roll heroes. It’s very different from the Melvins’ version of “Cow” – there’s no replicating that Dale Crover drum solo – but it’s quite in the spirit of the Melvins, who do some of the most original cover songs ever. We’re happy about how it came out.
Side A features “Lord Pinto” – an old, very silly song from the William and Mary days (about a fictional National Portuguese Cricket team) reworked and given additional kicks in the ass – now it’s one of our favorites to play live – a total riff fest with hardcore, thrash and sludge elements! The artwork (above), as with all Pantheon releases, is a tribute to the band being covered – so this is our weird riff on the Bullhead art, by our right hand man from Australia Jase Harper.

Hello beloved CC fans! Our second ‘Pantheon series’ 7″ is now available for pre-order! Beginning last year Caustic Casanova decided it would be really cool to re-record and re-arrange some of our favorite older songs, and then press them into a 7″ with an additional cover song on side B! Last year’s PANTHEON: VOL 1 was ‘Glossolalia’ from our Imminent Eminence record plus a cover of Pentagram’s ‘Forever My Queen’. This year’s PANTHEON: VOL 2 features ‘Lord Pinto’ from the earliest of Caustic Casanova days, plus a cover of ‘Cow’ by none other than the Melvins! The PANTHEON series will be ongoing so that we always have new releases for you in-between full length albums. ROCK ROCK ROCK around the clock is the goal!
