Caustic Casanova + Irata Spring 2016 Tour Is Here!

Hello CC Nation –  Our spring tour begins Friday, March 4th in Columbus, OH and will snake us through the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest for eight earthshaking shows. Our Retro Futurist label mates Irata will be joining us, and we couldn’t be more excited for our first ever tour with another band! Hailing from Greensboro, NC, Irata is an extremely talented sludgy, psychedelic riff monster and we’re thrilled to share the stage with another heavy power trio. Since we almost sold out of all remaining CC shirts on our last two month tour we printed a fresh run of our most popular ‘Bullets’ 3/4 length baseball-style tee, this time on incredibly soft Bella Canvas shirts. You’ll think you’re wearing a silk kimono, so be sure to pick one up at a show. The tour dates are posted below –

3/4 – Columbus, Ohio w/ Rise to Kill, Drake Talbot at The Summit Facebook Group
3/5 – Canton, Ohio w/ Red Legs, The Ravenna Arsenal at The Buzzbin Facebook Group
3/6 – Chicago, Illinois w/ Snow Burial, Predator at The Empty Bottle Facebook Group
3/7 – Milwaukee, Wisconsin w/ Bongwraith, Galactic Hatchet at Frank’s Power Plant Facebook Group

3/11 – Frederick, MD w/ Rhin, Akris, Cavern at Guido’s Speakeasy Facebook Group

We hope to see you on the road!

Show Some Shame!

First we hit you with the album name and released date, then boom – mere hours later we hit you with the first single premier!

We are so very proud to share this exclusive stream of “Show Some Shame,” track two on our forthcoming record Breaks. Thanks to Exclaim! for hosting this premier, and for the kind words! They write…

Noisy, progressive Washington, DC-based three-piece Caustic Casanova will be unveiling their latest studio album when Breaks arrives this fall, and in anticipation of the new record, Exclaim! is pleased to share the premiere of the band’s brand new single “Show Some Shame.”

Loud, but melodic and intricately pieced together, the new song runs the gamut from sludge to psychedelia, all in just over four minutes. Consisting of founding members Stefanie Zaenker (drums/vocals) and Francis Beringer (lead vocals/bass), as well as newer addition Andrew Yonki on guitar, the current lineup sound like they’ve hit their stride — and after writing and touring together for a couple years, they’re ready to unleash what they’ve been working on.

You can get a first taste of what the new material sounds like by giving the explosive “Show Some Shame” a spin in the player below. Breaks is officially out on September 25 via Retro Futurist Records.
